Hamburgers and Sweet Potato Fries

Greetings from the kitchen! I’ve been procrastinating pretty hard about updating, but now I’m ready and back at it.

This meal was based on the little amount of time I had! It’s quick and easy. This would be a great lunch or dinner in the summer time as well! Nothing fancy, but tastes great!
INGREDIENTS:
1 pound ground hamburger or ground turkey
2 TBSP Worcestershire sauce
1 TSP Soy sauce
1 egg
1 TSP Dried parsley
1 TSP Dried oregano
1 TSP Dried basil
1/2 TSP Dried rosemary
1 package of onion soup mix
2 cloves garlic
1/4 onion, chopped
2 TSP garlic salt or powder
Pinch of pepper
Your choice of toppings (lettuce, tomato, onion, etc)
2 large sweet potatoes
2 TBSP Olive oil
Hamburger buns
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.

2. Cut sweet potatoes long wise (hot dog style). Toss in a bowl with olive oil and pinch of salt and pepper.

3. Place potatoes on baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes, then turn over and bake another 10 minutes.
4. In a large bowl, mix ground hamburger or ground turkey, Worcestershire sauce, Soy sauce, egg, parsley, oregano, basil, rosemary, onion soup mix, garlic, onion, garlic salt or powder and pinch of pepper. Form into patties.

5. Heat oil in skillet and place patties inside. Pat down with spatula. Cook until no longer pink.

6. Once cooked, place into paper towels to soak up oil.

7. Make an assembly line for the burgers! It makes it more fun!
QUICK FIX:
If, by chance, the burgers are too wet and will not keep form, place back into the bowl and add a little bit of flour to help keep the shape. That’s what happened to me and they still turned out delicious!

Boom! A quick dinner for anytime of the year! Enjoy!
*cheers*
